The LC500 is a luxury sports car that was revealed at the 2016 Geneva Show. This was the first F segment coupé model for Lexus.
The styling is almost exactly the same as the LF-LC concept revealed in 2012, and was a design developed internally at their design studio in California. While it has a flowing coupé body that emphasises the low front nose, the front and rear overhangs are very short to enable a front midship mounting for the engine and a 2+2 seating layout.
Its base structure is a newly developed GA-L platform by TNGA Concept. The body is a combination of multiple materials including CFRP, aluminium and steel applied to various parts in order to balance low weight and high rigidity.
On the interior the design is asymmetrical, to give the driver the feeling of being wrapped in the car, while giving a wide space to the passenger. The parts that are not metallic are covered in leather and Alcantara to create a luxurious space. The instruments are a variable multi information display.
The engine is the same 5 litre, naturally aspirated V8 as the RC F and GS F, producing 470 BHP / 55.1 kgfm. This was combined with the first direct shift 10 speed automatic transmission to be equipped on a passenger car.
The LC500 participated in the GT500 class of the Super GT series from 2017, and dominated 1st to 6th place in its debut race.
LEXUS LC is the model pursued the Beauty and Drive. WALD refined the original dynamic body line with the design of our own style. Giving the Front Fenders with Air Ducts and 13mm Width Rear Over Fender to bring out more glamor for the exterior to fit with the big and wide wheels. In addition to the above, LED Lamps on the Front Spoiler and LED Stop Lamp on the Rear Diffuser are the typical WALD Style as the Eye-Catch-Accent for LEXUS LC Tuning Program.
