The 2-Eleven was first introduced in 2007 to replace the Lotus 340R as a track car that could be optioned for road use. It has a chassis weighing 1642 lb (745 kg) that is powered a supercharged 252 hp engine and is officially claimed to boast 'a power to weight ratio similar to that of a 1960's Formula One car.'

The 2-Eleven continued production until 2011 and was replaced by the 3-Eleven.

The 2-Eleven is based on a rear-biased chassis from the Lotus Exige with bolt-on composite body panels and FIA compliant safety equipment. Weighing just 1642 lb (745 kg),

Its Toyota supplied 1.8 litre inline-four engine with variable valve timing puts down 189 hp (188 kW) at 7900 rpm and 90·m of torque at 7000 rpm. As a transmission choice, the 2-Eleven is fitted with a Toyota C64 six-speed manual gearbox.[2]
